This job offer

As the successful Electrical Engineer the employee will be servicing, maintaining, repairing and fault finding on a range of high voltage and low voltage systems associated with electrical generator sets, including transformers, switchgear control panels, protection systems and associated plant.

Vacancy responsibilities include implementing maintenance and breakdown strategies, monitoring the work carried out by contractors and monitoring equipment to highlight early warning signs of potential breakdowns.

The Candidate

The successful jobseeker for this new vacancy must have experience in installations, repairs, maintenance and plant modifications for electrical equipment up to 33kv. Experience with landfill gas generating set controls and general industrial plant electrics would be an advantage.

The Candidate must be 17th Edition qualified and apprentice taught and trained.

The Candidate will ideally be time served and be able to work on your own as well as working as part of a co-ordinated group.
