* Good dexterity

* Able to communicate successfully across all levels of the organisation
* Approachable and flexible with regard to work requirements
* previous work experience of assembly under microscope would be advantageous

Prototype Assembly Technician

Location: Essex Cambridgeshire Jobs

Key points: The prospective employer, based in Essex is looking for a Prototype Assembly Technician to join their company. The emphasis of this requirement is in the area of RF and general PCB prototyping and surface mount assembly, detailed wiring and general electronics assembly. The successful candidate will have:
* experience in a product development environment preferably with some experience of RF/Telecoms/defence products
* the ability to work with minimum supervision assembling complex prototypes from schematics and drawings
* experience of working closely with engineers as part of a project team
* substantial experience of hand soldering small surface mount devices (0603 and 0402)
* experience in detailed wiring and general electronics assembly to IPC-A-610 class2
* experience in component buying would be very advantageous
* experience in basic fault finding would be advantageous An appropriate relevant qualification in electronics (ONC/HNC/HND) would be preferable but is not really necessary. Applicants will be expected to show their wiring/soldering skills as part of the selection process ..........
