Secretarial duties including dictation typing, audio typing, scanning documents into medical records, letters of invitation for appointments and writing up minutes from practice meetings Liaison with patients/ hospitals/ GPs for follow ups as necessary.Provide support for GPs on clinical and IT systems, tell on improvements to make sure efficiency and successfulness.Date stamp all communicationreceived and enter onto EMIS as necessary.Receive/ sort/ distribute Medisec downloads.Invoicing as required and keeplist of invoices EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Computer literate, experienced in medical information systems (ideally EMIS, Lexacom and DocMan)Knowledge of clinical terminology to medical secretarial requirements or medical secretarial qualification.Experience of working in a doctor's surgery, or comparable professional team where confidentiality is a necessity.
